Go West and Midge Ure have been revealed as additional Sunday headliners for the 2017 Brentwood Festival

Named as Best British Newcomer at the 1986 Brit Awards, Go West reached their peak of their popularity between the mid 1980s and the early 1990s with international top 10 hits “We Close Our Eyes“, “Call Me” and “King of Wishful Thinking“.

Ure enjoyed success in the 1970s and ’80s in bands including Slik, Thin Lizzy, Rich Kids and Visage, and most notably as frontman of Ultravox, where he scored international hits like “Vienna” and “Dancing with Tears in My Eyes”.   He is also known for being co-writer of the enduring charity single, “Do They Know It’s Christmas?”.

The artists join Heaven 17 on the line up.
